Newbie Question - first time in base

Just started playing this game. Completed first mission for allies and now I'mm back at base. Objectives are to visit armoury and hospital and get new mission briefing. I've visited armoury and hospital but have no idea how to get new mission info. Every time I go into the File room and click on the Colonel, he just shoots up the list of available recruits. I already picked 5. WHERE DO I GO AND WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET NEW MISSION INFO? THANKS ALOT

you get new mission info after leaving the base to the europe map, and then going into a region. Available missions have a diamond with a question mark on them. HOld your cursor over them and it will show you info about them.

Yes, the Colonel only "gives" you your first mission so there's no need to ever return to the breifing room unless you desire a change of personnel. The rest of found through clues discovered during your missions. Complete all you objectives before exiting a mission.
