BIG JOE, Found At Last!!(Allies)

Okay here goes.... I'll try to explain this the best i can. First off the country you want to be in is North Britain. The random mission that the Big Joe is located is just below (south) "Organization's storehouse" mission. If u don't know where Organization's storehouse mission is or still early in the game then look for a bold, dark line going vertically on the west side of the map...on that bold dark line look for a retangular M3 symbol..now place your pointer on the m3 an move south along the line until u see a small number 6. The Big Joe random mission should appear right below the number 6..quicksave before u start the mission.

 

The map itself will always have two 2 story house, a small shed next to one of the house and a little yard incase in a fence with a well, bench, hay, and barrels next to the other house. Also there will be three powerline poles(?) with a junction box next to one of the pole. next and most importantly there MUST be a truck on the map!! No truck equals no Big Joe..so just quick load if u don't see the truck. The truck should randomize in between the 2 house next to the small shed. The Big Joe is found in the house with the small shed on the right side of it and a bench in the front right of the house. The Big Joes is neither on the first floor or second floor, but ingeniously in the attic..which has no stairs leading to the chest that contains the Colt M1911 "Big Joe" with 4 Big Joe arrows, so just blow a hole in the ceiling to make an entrance to the attic. Just keep reloading that mission until u see a truck, hit the attic veiw and look for the chest in the attic..Remember this is strictly for the Allies campaign. The Big Joe for the Axis have already been pin pointed, but never for the Allies...So there u have it, the Allied's Big Joe finally found. If i'm the first to discover this, please give credit where credit's due..Happy Hunting. :wink:

Thanks for the tip, but other players may not find it in the same location.

 

The random encounters really can pop up almsot anywhere on a map. SO the fact that you had the encounter in that position doesn't guarantee anyone else will find it in the same spot.

In following this "Joe" thread since I first found the ammo, I can say that yes I have been on the random encounter map a number of times before reading this post. I tried camping this spot on my North Britain Map (Allies) and I get a different map layout. I will try the other randoms on the map and see. I have the list location but my map is different.

I too have Big Joe in my possession. It was on the random encounter described above. I think that I had my at the same location on the regional map. I was looking for Big Joe but I had a different map in mind. Not sure I would have checked the attic this time(I do try to scope out containers on all the maps), but I had a minor problem with a big grenade or 3 :wink: As I was laying waste to the bad guys on the map I saw Big Joe ammo on the remains of the 2nd floor of the house. When I climbed upstairs I found much to my delight Big Joe and ammo. I reloaded the map start and found that indeed there was a locked chest in the attic.

If I can figure out how to get jpg's here I will send them in for posting...

Been having fun looking at all the different random maps that pop up. A lot of good fun to be had.

What is this Big Joe? :shock: Can anyone give any stats on it?
