Melee weapons and throwing knives probably will have a 100% reliability but wait for the 10% reliability of nitroglicerin!! :lol: KABOUM!! Maybe there will be different effects for different types of weapons... for example grenades will make nothing or explode before time, rifles will break or jam, and maybe knives will hurt the user (yeah, it's not so silly at all to get hur by owns melee weapon). What I'm hoping for, though, is the ability to place (and not throw) timed and triggered explosives on walls, floors, etc, instead of only doors and windows. Obviously even with the limited advertising we've seen S2 has done well enough to fund further development. I can see a JA3 mod coming out of this.... it will have all the ingredients. A game like this BEGS for online play and it's one of the major flaws. Silent Storm shouldn't have even been shipped before multiplayer was implemented. Louis Posted February 10, 2004 Share Posted February 10, 2004 Multiplayer ? I couldn't care less. What I really want is for this to be turned into a strategy game instead of just a shooter. Might as well go play 'Deer Hunter' and kill stuff. (Hmmm... hunting deer with grenades, now that could be fun.) X-COM and JA2 were REAL strategy games! I still play both. Having finished S2 (Allied) once I am in no rush to go back for more. I started the Axis campaign but got bored very quickly. There's just not enough variation here to make it interesting.
