Garic
.. i know it changes health but.. is that it? i was thinking about making a grenadier.. then i noticed that he starts with 9 starting str... if str isnt used for throwing distance then being that high is a waste... ty in advance
doggy
I'm almost positive it effects throwing range, at least for medium and heavy nades. Nessie is a legend
Biggles
Nival have said that your inventory weight is a factor too. I haven't been able to test it, but supposedly if you are carrying a lot of gear your AP drop. As I said, this is still to be proven... it may have been a feature that got dropped. LordGek
I don't know if AP drops when too encumbered but I have OFTEN not been able to carry anymore looted weapons in my inventory EVEN THOUGH I had all sorts of space! So I'm pretty sure weight is factored in as well as just space.

Red
My character have 4 strength and he's able to carry full inventory filled with machine guns, grenades, SMGs. So... there's a weight limit?!
Biggles
That's what we are trying to work out. I've heard anecdotal evidence that weight affects APs, but I've not tested it myslef , nor have i heard any corroborating statements from official sources. ShadowHunter
I tried filling my sniper's inv with PK weapons with no effect on any stat whatsoever :?
Biggles
Yeah... i haven't noticed a difference either. Evidently Strength affects burst fire ability as well.
LordGek
Hmm, I could have been delusional but I sure thought I saw this. I'm playing on hard if that makes a difference.
Alaeth
My character have 4 strength and he's able to carry full inventory filled with machine guns, grenades, SMGs. So... there's a weight limit?!Hmm... I don't think it's weight, but it might be speed. My grenader with 9 str can run faster than my two snipers (all 3 with full packs)
ShadowHunter
But it has no effect on AP, so it doesn't really matter
