Biggles
Sometimes, if there wereother mission options, I just left a misison and did something else. Not every clue is essential. of course, it may be possible to fail the game.. I don't know.
ShadowHunter
Don't worry about that You can't leave a mission without getting essential clues. Is that mission just a small forest that looks like a random encounter? The "i" should've been on 1 of the enemies, and he'll drop a bunch of papers. Either that, or he dropped it somewhere. If you can't find it, try using knifes and cut down all the trees & shrubs. psydeath
oh boy, looks like i get to be a lumberjack[edit] i still cant find iti kicked the asses of like alot of treesargh!
ShadowHunter
No idea then :?My "i" was hidden in 1 of the shrubs, and I couldn't find it until I started blowing everything up with grenades :roll:Are there any objectives? Or did you accidentally walk into a random encounter instead?
Biggles
Actually you CAN leave a mission without doing all the objectives. Just get all your guys in a group along the edge of the map, and as long as no enemy can see you, and you can't see any enemies, you can leave! ShadowHunter
Yes, but some objectives are needed to continue the story and open up the next blinking sector. For those clues the leave button will say you havn't completed objectives or something to that effect.
psydeath
no its the mission im sure of iti never killed all the trees, just the ones around the dead bodies, so maybe il have to try thatand the leave button is green, so i can leavebut i never got any objectives yetil try reloading and doing the mission over again
ShadowHunter
If the button's green then you can leave if you want. You'll just miss an extra mission or 2 My "i" wasn't anywhere near the bodies :?

Biggles
One cryptic comment I had from someone at Nival was that they wished they'd had me on the beta testing team. and that was after telling them about what i though twere minor annoyances... but the impression that I got was that they didn't feel the testing had been done thouraghly enough. I may be reading more into it than is really there, but I do think that perhaps the play testers didn't give the game a real going over like they should have or the communicatiosn with the developers wasn't as good as it coud have been. ShadowHunter
Ahhh...beta testing...a godly job I can't imagine anything more fun than playing at work, for work.
Biggles
Actually I've done it... it can be tedious. Especially when you have only one part of a game to test over and over. Of course I haven't been paid for it... now that I'd love.
