Mijailito
Hello. I got my hands on a copy of the collector's edition, and it won't install on my W2K. It says I have not enough buffers. I tried editing CONFIG.NT but altough the command FILES is applied, the command BUFFERS is ignored by W2K. Any hlep ? Thanks a lot. Miguel

I play from W2K too. I fix my problem with two things: the VDMSound thing (you may have), and an utilitary that handles the mouse (google MOUSE2KV). What I did was I created a .bat file that runs the mouse2kv thing on xcomapoc.exe, and let the VDMS runs this .bat file. Put in the .bat file the following: mouse2kv 640 480 6 6 xcomapoc.exeAlso let VDMS control the setup to it can detect the "defaults" for the sound, so you can hear things like aliens' screams of death Good luck Alex
