sigget
Have any of you guys that managed to do camera mods looked at this file? Does it have any effect on the game? My guess is that its not used. What bothers me with this file is that while it says its a model its format doesnt match other models, instead it appears to be an anim-set just like the dcam??-?.txt -files. Alchemist
Actualy it IS used. Just read code of Fulby's FOV and Camera modes plugins and you'll find out how. F Person Camera mod also replaces this file.
sigget
Okay, i find that surprising, why is it in such a weird format?!
Alchemist
As far as I can see it is definition of three dimentional curve, coming along with FOV and rotation angles for each point defined. When you increase zoom level, engine just selects next of the curve point and adjustes camera position and orientation accordinly. Same thing happens, when you decrease zoom level. Set of data before animation sequencies should be an initial camera postion.Haven't tried to change this file myself but belive that my assumptions are correct. Aralez
I think Alchemist is absolutely right with his ideas. BUT, When i made my camera-hack (yep the old long forgotten one ), i only changed the height factor of the camera, so i can't tell for sure, either.
