Fulby
Get it from the ALPine Website. Download is 548KB. Major changes:Added Select All and Select None buttons to GUI. Added functions addweapon(), addmagazine(), addarmor(), addglossary(), addtext() and addtech() to simplify adding new content. See 'items.lua' for function details and the Stun Rod and WTD plugins for examples. This should make it much simpler to write plugins which add new items. Added getlanguage() function, which tells the plugin which language UFO is using. I'd like to investigate multi-language plugins - are there any modders with non-English versions who could help me test this? ALPine 2.4 includes all the released plugins, including the new Warp Target Designator (WTD) plugin. This is a powerful weapon which can be researched late on in the game. Includes its own firing effect, new texture, new icon and two R&D items complete with techno-babble https://fulby.v21hosting.co.uk/pics/wtd.jpg Fulby

Aralez
he i know this model from somewhere Clever, very clever! Is the warp designator some kind of remote control for a satelite weapon? I thought about something like this too, once, but i couldn't see a realistic way to explain why it would be usable in bases or ufos, so i cancelled the idea... Fulby
I originally wanted to make a Laser Target Designator to call in airstrikes, but as you say it would work indoors which wouldn't make sence. It's all explained in the research (hopefully)
Fulby
There's a bug in ALPine 2.4 which stops the WTD being compatible with the Rebalance Mod. Here's the update to fix it, please extract it to your ALPine directory: ALPine 2.4.1 Patch (4KB) Fulby
Fulby
Another patch, thanks to Manus for pointing out the bug. ALPine 2.4.2 patch (4KB) Extract to your ALPine directory, overwriting the file that's there. If you're using the "Warp Bomb and WTD" plugin please install the patch and then apply your chosen plugins again. Fulby
Slaughter
I discovered a small "problem" Fulby. When you use the mod wrapper, it isn't enough that the file has cfg.vfs at it's end, it has to be called cfg.vfs. I guess you knew, but it would be much better if it could be called rbmodcfg.vfs for instance
