Fulby
I downloaded mod4.1_final.zip, size 9,918,921 bytes.I copied cfg.vfs to the UFO directory and LocalizationPack.vfs to the Localization directory. No other "*cfg.vfs" files were in the UFO directory. I started the game and Researched basic ammo manufacturing. When I went to Development I got this - apologies for the wide screenshot: https://fulby.v21hosting.co.uk/pics/rbmodshot.jpg Is this what it's suppose to look like or is there suppose to be a different description in the centre text box? Also, I extracted cfg.vfs but couldn't find a listofglossary.txt. Modifying this file is the only way I know of to change/add glossary entries. Is it included in the Rebalance mod cfg.vfs? If not, how does the mod affect the glossary? Fulby
Slaughter
No, I don't think it adds a center text. But what it does add (I seem to remember) is text for the weapons and armor that it adds in the glossary. I'll double check though...
Slaughter
I was wrong. The mod doesn't add glossary entries for the weapons and so on. I thought it was supposed to. My mistake . But the file localizationpack.vfs is larger for the rebalance mod than for the original game. What is diffrent Fnurg?
Fnurg
The localizationpack contains all the strings used in the game. Those strings are referenced from the various files within the gamedata.vfs The problem is a few missing strings or invalid references in the localizationpack which results in the string not being displayed. What your seeing inthe righthand box is the string ID that the game is trying to call from the localizationpack. This doesnt affect the operation of the game.I'll try to address these problems with the 4.2 patch
