Yes, if in a place where the squaddie can lean around the corner, any corner, then the squaddie can target the alien, who also can send that laser through the corner of the wall, or so it seems. Yes, the laser can shoot through the corner of the wall when looking at the shot, if you stop the action and look at it, but only through the corner not the wall its self, so it may be somewhat the same way for the alien, although if the squaddie is postioned right, then only the first squaddie in line will be hit, although at certain times, depending on the angle another squaddie may be hit.

Shotting... isnt that related to alcohol? I sure wouldnt like my soldiers sneaking around a corner to do some boozing during battle, or... perhaps i would... that would make a great mod!

I have shotted many a Tequila throughout my years. And it would sure as hell make for a great mod! Lean around the corner, have a shot with the alien, repeat it, and whoever falls first looses. Much more civilized than this shooting each other .
