wampyre
First off, I used search to look for topics on the reported memory leak and it turned up nothing. sorry if I seem lazy but I dont want to search thru 1000 posts for the answer, and I saw no topics on memory crashes. Correct me and lead to the post if I am in error.I installed 1.2 and still get memory crashes every few turns. I thought the patch corrected that. Anybody else get that problem? Do I have to tweak my computer or something? It has enough total mem (512) and it exceeds the spec requirements on all else. Please help as thia game cannot be played as is.Thanks
Chryssalid_Victim
Hmm wierd? What are your full specs? I'm running a 512MB system too which exceeds all system requirements (most of the recommended too) and the only time it's crashed has been due to the "Head problem" from the rebalance mod...... Oh it crashed once on my laptop after about 13 hours continuous play but I guess that's to be expected....poor thing was burning....and it was v1.

wampyre
Falcon Northwest Mach5 with Athelon 2000 chip. 512 memory. nVidia Gforce 3 ti500 card. Windows xp.I was told by someone on the Moo3 board to delete everything then re install the game then add the patch instead of trying to play the saved games that I patched over. Will do if needed but a shame to waste a weeks worth of progress and start over......

Slaughter
Well, I have a ASUS GeForce 3 Platinium, and it works very well. What drivers are you using? 45.23 are the most stable it seems...
wampyre
Hi Rocksk!Slaughter, I dont know what version of drivers I have offhand, I'd have to look it up, but I do know they are NOT the most updated. In fact, when I installed Knights of the Old Republic, it TOLD ME SO. (old drivers however have not hampered that or any of the other games I play..and the number is legion.) It does seem like good advice to update my drivers though. And I will take Rocksk advice and reinstall. Cheers.
Slaughter
Keep in mind that the latest drivers have some issues though. The 52.something. Use 45.23 instead...
rocksk
You may want to backup the your savegame first, just in case.
