The Demi-Godly One
Well, we need some details, you are not being very specific. (And usually these kind of posts are put in the support forum)

I got a Win XP and when i installed x-com: ufo defense or tftd or apoc none of them worked. it just appears a blank screen without anything... Slaughter
Yes, and there is a patch to fix it. But I am too lazy to repeat it here, so as I said, take a look at this thread: https://www.ufoaftermath.co.uk/forums/index...p?showtopic=

Mouse Nightshirt
Hmmm, I downloaded it to give the PC version another go. It still runs too fast. Not as bad as the original, but still fast. But I still maintain, the PSX version is better
infael
I clicked on the Altar link and found nothing to help me install UFO in XP. When I click on the install icon, a DOS window opens and the screen goes blank. Nothing happens. TIA infael
Slaughter
Well, if you own the original, it shouldn't bee too big a crime to download the version that is being linked to at the UFO:Aftermath site, and play it. Thus you don't need to install
BladeFireLight
I belive the link your refering to has been removed... (you can buy UFO dos for under $8 US. and it will run under XP [see below] so please dont encourage piracy) also if you want to get the Dos version runing on XP in only a few minuets.. check out This Thread -Blade FireLight
Slaughter
Didn't mean to do that. I'm not the one hosting the download, and I don't take responsibility if people download it. Point is just that the version for download came with PC Gamer, and is newer than the DOS one, thus easier to run. But you're right, probably shouldn't have a link to it there anyway. I'll remove it. Cel JD
I agree with both of you in piracy and in buying the game but there's only one problem. I live in Brazil n this kind of game is very dificult to be found you know. But you are right.
