Mazdek
I play alot of Counter-Strike, and one of the cool aspects of that game (well, any Half-Life mod I think) is the ability to record a "demo". You type a command in console and it starts recording the entire match, for you or anyone else to play back later. I was wondering if UFO:A has this ability, or if it would be possible to add in afterwards? It would be pretty neat to be able to record a tactical mission as you're doing it, then later be able to play it back and observe the whole mission in "realtime". Not only would this be great for bragging rights, but people could create their own in-game-footage tutorials about strategies and tactics. I guess I should really post this on ALTAR's forums, but I have trouble keeping up on the few BBS's I'm on already, I don't want to get lost in another. Hopefully someone from ALTAR will see this at some point.
evan
Interesting idea. There aren't any plans for it at the moment, but I don't see why we couldn't do it. I'll mention it to the guys, and see what they think about it. Evan
