Jh316
Whenever a unit goes down stairs, or anything like that, the game will crash without any error messages most of the time. Sometimes, it also does it for no apparent reason at all, but always in a battle. It makes terror missions almost unplayable, making it difficult to go up in the tech tree sometimes. Any ideas? Other than hardware accelleration and compatibility mode. That never works for any program at all. I'm running Windows XP, with 384 MB RAM, and a 1.1 GHZ celeron. Strong Bob
Word of advise: X-COM games are unpredictably unreliable on Windows XP and Windows 2000, or even Windows NT. In my experience at least.
Alkaloidz
Hi, I just grabbed a copy of TFTD myself, I had a blast with it while going through University, and thought to relive some very late nights with Tasoths and Lobstermen! However I am having the same problem! :hmmm: I am fine with small ships but everytime I go after the bigger ones or hit a base, terror site, as soon as there is 'hidden movement' there is blink! And the game is gone! I do run XP, but there must be someone out there who can get this bug fixed or tell me what I am doing wrong!
