Capturing Ft. Good Hope Base In Biomass

Hi,

I know capturing bases in biomass should work if you turn it into a biomass repulsing base right after you capture it. Mostly, it works, I've captured many bases like that but somehow it doesn't seem to work with Ft. Good Hope. Either the base itself is somehow bugged or then it's just my savegame, I don't know. This is my first game.

Here's the deal: I've done 3 or 4 tactical missions to capture the biomass-infested Ft. Good Hope base in my current game (either capturing an alien base or cleaning out a military base, it differs). Every time I've completed the mission and got back to the globe screen, the base has already been underrun by biomass even before I've had the chance to change it into an anti-biomass base! The base is already gone without unpausing the game.

This has happened at least 3 times with my own squad capturing the base, and twice having let other CoE forces capture the base. Either way, I can't keep the base.

In fact, I once had the base under my control before I researched anti-biomass bases, but it got overrun by biomass. Every further attempt to reclaim the base has failed.

Am I alone with this bug or is this a known bug already under investigation?

I'm going maaaAAAAD!!! :laugh::)

Bases captured on biomass automatically get instantly transformed into anti-biomass bases upon capture so you shouldn't lose any more so long as you're patched up to version 1.2 :laugh:

Not sure if this patches it up for games in progress though, but it's worth a look!
