Warp Cannon Error / Several Others

When you are in the end of your tech development your best auto Warp Cannon in the tactical game has some errors. The alien human hybrid weapon. I play only the german version ! Plz respond if u have noticed this in other game versions !

 

1. The firing rate doesent work corrctly.

 

2. The weapon cant be reloded like all damn alien warp weapons, but the aliens can fire their warp guns with unlimited ammunition. Only on Transgenetics works this correctly they can deplete their ammunition.

 

3. U can fire this nice weapon I think 4 to 6 times then its ammu is depleted. Its damn heavy but damn uneffective u cant win a war with this !

 

4. There is a big graphic error ! The weapon flys 2 meters near the soldier. When u fire it, u see some ugly graphic errors.

 

I am in the end of the game. Maybe the difficult settings have errors too ! I have started a game in easy mode and I have to fight Reticulans that can mind control you squad members and drop your own grenades. In the middle of the squaf before you can do something. The mind control has happened in my 4th mission, I tryed to conquer an crahsed alien scout ship with 2 Reticulans on the map. I have started a game in heavy mode ! And the Aliens get their mind controlling abilitys in the middle of the game.

Is the game in other versions even so heavy ? I havent managed to conquer a single battleship from the aliens, but I have shot dozen of em out of'de sky. Some maps start like 80% of all aliens are near your entry point making the game very short. Even with best armour I cant manage to move 4 steps then all squad members are eliminated. Normal is 4 Reticulans with rocket launchers, then 3 mind controller, then 12 to 22 Aliens with other heavy weapons.... And some aliens with gun turrets. Is this a game error or is this *easy* Impossible game setting just normal, I mean u havent any chance to take some steps to any cover. Map started with 4 aliens spotted and after killing one or two of em hordes sneak out of their cover from trashcans or from ( this is my preferred: from 5 meters from behind your squad ). Ok I have to say that I controll 42 Bases in the game and that are 2 years of game time are gone my squad members are all from 15 to 20 level. This mess started after the 160 day in'de game.

 

Have other same problems ?

 

Ahh, I have forgotten this, the second alien powercell cant be researched even If u have 300 of em.

Then the last two Transgenetics are missing ! Havent found em yet ? How long have I to play before I can find em ?

And your own Greys your alien friends in your squad cant wear any human equipment and they cant wear any armour ! Whats this they are useless one hit an they are gone ! When you remove their clothes they are undressed and you cant put the removed clothes right back on em.

When the game slows down the aliens fire their weapons when they are dead ? I mean you shoot them dead, but they can fire their weapons onece before the drop down. This happens sometimes. When u reload its regardless what u do u can hit em with x12 times on damage they have hit points. The stupidly fire their weapon once, even when your soldier has maximum in sped super heroic. They are still firing once. U may be not aware in the eraly game, but when the aliens have weapons who can kill your soldier with 2 or 3 hits, and nearly every 4 alien is doing this, you have no chance !

I have discovered that you can throw grenades open closed doors in base defense missions ! when u are one or two squares before em. Whats dizzz ?????? Well yeah, helps you killing aliens behind that mentioned door !

The alien generals rise when u have not killed em ? Have they some kind of regeneration ? This happends only when they are in base assault mission. They try to sweep a base out u control. When they are red to yellow hp status they rise up to their feets again !?!? After some time.....

Why you cant put your gun turrets permanently to one position. They can only be set on ground and readied when enemys are directly confronting your squad guys !

You click on the enemy they beginn the setting and the preparing of the gun, after the alien is dead they packing their cool and heavy gun turret together, best of it the havent loose any single shot, cause it takes so long time to prepare the gun that the other squad members have killed the enemy ! The turrets are all useless.

Ahh yes u cant reload em !

The Aliens fire their PSI weapons unlimeted, the couldnt be reloaded. When u use em you are fastly out of ammu. Even when your soldiers have super heroic abilitys in PSI powers. Why your soldiers can be controlled with maxed will and PSi ?!?!? Whats this is ? Is there no PSI defense ? For what are the abilitys PSI powers and willpower when the aliens controll your soldiers, who maxed this abilitys ?

One crashed UFO cant be entered via the teleporter cause the soldiers cant enter the path. I doesnt remember what map this was. But I think in europe or russian. UFO Base or Battleship.

The Best Bug in base defense when a alien with a green shield runs across a corner and a dead alien is lying on the ground square he passes in doing so. And he carriers a warp pistol, you cant see a Hitpoint bar across him and he taked massive and horribly damage. He wont die ! You must double click on him. Only then the calculated damage is killing him !!!

The alien plasma gun doesent work correctly in base defending when your soldiers wielding them. The aline can see your soldiers and fire on them above any obstacles like chests in store halls. But your soldier wearin the same gun, seein the enemy cant fire above the chests !!!!!! I have lost some soldiers to find out that this is a bug.

 

I have found some more bugs... but actually I cant remember its late so I finish my Bug report tomorrow. When the german version gets no update the game in the easiest mode is unplayable. I cant finish the game with tons of bugs like this. The best weapon for your soldiers the auto warp blaster mention above doesnt work correctly ! I havent any chance of finish the last mission. Regardless what I do all squadmembers are killed.

 

But hell this is like UFO part one. Its about only one mission. I am horribly affected. And the bugs are kickin the game fun out. I hope they hurry with their patch, I want to see the end now for 2 days... but I cant finish the mission. Game is toooo hard. All members get killed in the drop zone before the have take one step ?
