Nuron_V
I've resently got into playing the X-com games again (9th time round by now i think) the only problem is Xcom 1 and 2 run way to fast on these cotten picking new fangelled modern computers. Any ideas for any programs or anything that could get it to run at the right speed???Cos i have a hankering for a showdown in petrol station.cheers
Ice2056
There are more than one topic about that problemThis one will probably help you
Nuron_V
I believe this is why i stopped playing last time. I downloaded turbo and i can see it has helped but now the speed constantly speeds up and slows down, often coming to a complete hult for a few seconds more often on the geoscape. This completely spoils one of the greatest games of all time. I used to run UFO and TFTD on a P75 and i used to have it on my amiga so i know how good it can be. Ice2056
You could try another slowdown util like MosloIf you're not satisfied with that and you really want to play you should consider purchasing the collectors edition. The collectors edition works fine on my amd 2400+ and it's really worth it.
DragonHawk
heh, the Collector's edition doesn't have these issues? I think it's time to buy...
