Pete
Hi all, just a quick note - we were hacked last night by persons unknown using methods unknown and for reasons unknown. The script that contained the loophole that allowed the hacker in has been removed and everything appears to be back to normal. All users with administrator access except myself and Slaughter have had their permissions lowered to member status - this is just a precaution whilst we inspect other scripts that may contain similar loopholes that could allow someone to hack in through our forum software and we don't want them hacking our admin accounts to gain further access. All accounts will be restored once this is resolved. Thanks for your patience.

Aralez
Ah, finally the site is up again! Kret and me were already in contact because of the site being unaccessable. Maybe the link Kret was directed to, can help you find the guilty ones? Btw, i'm seeing a lots of sites being hacked atm, can't those ****** do something constructive, like program some editors etc ? I really don't understand those guys...
Aralez
Just a thought: Could the fact that the hotmail website was hacked (according to BA) has something to do with the hack of this site ? Maybe the fact that this forum uses a email-notification (users will use mostly hotmail, i guess) had an effect? I'm just guessing here, i'm no expert as this. Pete
Nope, this was a script associated with the forum software which has since been removed.

MajSpotter
Grrr... *pulls out BFG* Point me at 'em! *Sets the 13th knot in in the neck tie* You round em up... I'll make this fit em... Problem solved. They really need to make the punishment for hacking on a par with homicide, spying, and treason. Life in prison, or death, depending where you live.
