Chat with ALTAR

By "we" I mean the people who hang out (or just idle all day while at work, like me) on the IRC channel. C'mon people, come visit us! You find out all sorts of neat stuff ahead of time!

Ok, well, thats the first thing we knew about before you did, but theoretically the Altar people could show up and tell us where to secretly download a demo or something! Really! :alien2:

Um, Olav just told me that I should have capitalized all the letters in ALTAR because its an acronym. Anyone know what it means? I don't want to edit my post because then it will look tacky with the "last editted" line like my first comment has.

Well, tomorrow is the big day. Be there! In the meantime I've added a "Submit question" and "View questions" section to the:

https://iolalog.stud.hive.no/UFO/

site. Feel free to submit questions there. You don't have to, but it's nice for Jiri and Martin to see some of the questions first, so that they may prepare a bit. Anyway, see you tomorrow. So long.

As one of my questions during the chat, I asked the ALTAR guys what the acronym meant. :)

<ALTARiMartinK> It is a sort of silly and furthermore it only makes sense in Czech.

<Mazdek> Silly is good, would you care to roughly translate, or is it an inside joke? :eh:

<ALTARiMartinK> Originally it was a name of the publishing house who made "Dragon's Lair", the Czech most popular pen-and-paper fantasy RPG.

<ALTARiMartinK> We -- ALTAR interactive -- are a sort of offspring company.

<ALTARiMartinK> Anyway, roughly translated it means "The Altruistic League of the Creators of an Alternative Reality".
