Mouse Nightshirt
Right, well. I've always gone on about how much better the music in the PSX version for Enemy Unknown is compared to the PC version. I managed to get the music off the PSX disc, and I was wondering if it was possible to edit the PC game somehow to play mp3 files, thus incorporating the PSX mp3 music into the PC game instead of the midi gumph that is in the PC one. And as I don't know the first thing about modding...
Jman4117
Could play them with Winamp in the background. Any other way would probably mean major programming.
NKF
That works for most recent versions of Windows (98+), but not quite in Win95. At least, it won't work that way with the dos edition and MP3s (it will only allow one program to use the digital audio at any given time - the other will just have its sound disabled). You could burn the MP3's into audio tracks on a CD (or just use your PSX CD) and play the CD in the background. This'll work for either version on... well, pretty much any system that can play audio-cds, come to think of it. Just remember, ito lower the midi volume. MS Dos version - use the numeric keypad +/- keys, or disable it via sound setup. In the CE, just switch off midi volume via the windows volume control. It's a bit of work to set up at first, but the absolute control over what music you want to hear at any given time (and the choice of looping the track) is yours! No longer will you be forced to listen to music you do not like! - NKF
