Munkeylord
i was just curious if anyone is modding xcom or tftd. i'm always interested in anything that has to do with this game. just write a little something if you are, or if you need some help (outside programming) with graphics editing, i can help. BladeFireLight
I'm working on quite a big project.. buy you already know about that monkeylord... with the breakthrough on alien movement I made to day it is coming alone niceley.. but is still a ways to go. I wonder what other projects are out there. -BladeFireLight ps. if DiaShiva can get the world map editor working the only thing standing in the way of _true_ hybrid games are the locations of the world map textures... NKF
I've been working on and off (more 'off' lately though) on a utility for sorting the soldiers stored in the soldier.dat file. It's just an idea I got when I was looking at XComutil's sorting function and XED's soldier/vehicle editor for X-Com: Apocalypse. Just trying to make something you can use to sort your soldiers in whatever manner you want. By stats, by armour, by rank, by name, or even just let you swap soldiers about at your whim. So far I'm still putting together a class to hold each soldier entry. Still need to figure out a number of values in each soldier entry (and to figure out which ones are byte sized or word sized) before I can get on to working out how to sort them. It's nothing big. Just a little hobby to better learn programming. It's more of a convenience utility rather than a more practical soldier editor (when there are already plenty of editors out there). - NKF
