It could replace the Heavy Cannon. It would probably look like an 20mm anti-tank rifle with larger barrel, 5rd clip, and a 20lb+ weight with a bipod to support its weight and be recoiless to increase accuracy (also no broken shoulder). The clip would probably weigh at least 5lb since it would truely be a cannon. Probably best to have a support team (2-3 guys) to carry spare mags should a prolonged fire fight brake out :P

what would you guys think about a halo mod?? would you play with it? i've been seriously debating changeing the weapons into halo style weapons and uniforms, though the aliens would stay the same until someone can crack the exe, thats the hold up with xcww2 as well. i will attempt to crack it, but with my skills in that area it will take awhile, and i will only crack what i want to...i'll figure it out eventually. so interested? ok i'll start thinking of the options for it.

ok guys... keep the posts on topic... this forum is under stricker rules than the others... I dont want to lock this thread, but I will if you dont keep it to moding of xcom games. or modings other games to be like xcom.

 

the short little posts and jokes dont belong here...

 

ps.. keep up the good work monkey lord.. if you can hack the hight info out of the exe i will be impressed.

ok, well heres what i've got planned right at the moment. i'm going to finish up the pistol market for the individual weapons. if i get bored enough make a halo mod. and also i'm going to be making a self modding setup where there will be most the weapons, what i mean is that you can modify how they look using a paint program of some sort and run the .bat file to impliment them into the game. there will be that and a patch changer so you can also change the rank patches to a more personalized look. i'll post again when all the major two are complete (pistols/self editing program)

ok well the personal editing project has been terminated due to technical difficulties of the major. web page has been updated, the use of the individual weapons without xcomutil is now possible, just dload the needed files and fit them into your xcom dir. also i've got a ship mod up for xcomutil only, please try it out and let me know if it works for you or not via email, a post, or an IM. thanks, and enjoy

 

oh, um and if anyone knows how to change the ship stats, like ppl on board and weapons and stuff like that......let me know

ok, i'm just looking for anyone who's done any map editing in xcom. if so particularly ship maps, i would like them to put in a ship map pack i am creating. just send me the info on how many units and tanks are onboard and tell me where u wish the tanks to be placed and i'll do the rest. email them to me at Grandmunky@hotmail.com, the credit will be given to the creator of the ship i've only made 2 ships and hopefully the rest are a very big collection made by other ppl. sorta a community project, it will be updated as time goes by. also on the 6th of aug i will not be here for a few months. most likely get back up in late feb. thats all for now

 

edit: also give a shot description of the craft, what u intend it to be used for and its initial existance.

ok give me a week, and i'll get back up and running. i got all my $@&%! fixed. so anything i missed in the past...just make a list and i'll start working on it like a religion. i know ur list blade, i'll get those uniforms done soon.....seriously :P and ur kelp tile
