Loonie
Okey-dokey! I'll think in that direction and as soon as I get inspired or something else comes up, I'll get right to work. Can't say how long it'll take though but hopefully it won't take too long. (shouldn't be more than a month or so).

Mouse Nightshirt
No, because you're not looking at the right one. You need to view the one with .html on the end of it.
Mouse Nightshirt
The latest KILLER Version of Wormo2 is up and running: www.x-com.co.uk/xcas/wormo2.html
Loonie
Now that is quite a bit better indeed! Keep it up and you might end up on a plaque somewhere Also I have a single very important question for you Mouse: Can the XCAS BGM be put up as a Wave or MP3 file, since Midi would seriously lessen the music's potential. :dontgetit:
Mouse Nightshirt
Well it can't be midi, as its incompatible with Flash. So it has to be Mp3 or wave. And as MP3 is considerably smaller, we would need to use it to keep the filesize down; we can't have it too large now.
Loonie
Superb! No problem then. I'm currently halfway through so it really is looking good so far, though it might be a bit of a mix between militaristic and futuristic along with tense.
Loonie
Good news and bad news to report. Good news? IT'S DONE AND QUITE GOOD TOO! YAY!!! Bad news? It'll take LOADS of time before I convert it to proper mp3 and I can't even specify the amount of time unfortunately. But fear not. I'll make sure our theme doesn't stay at midi. Yuk! Mouse Nightshirt
Well, the latest version of the redo is at: https://www.x-com.co.uk/xcas/templayout.html - Version 0.02 As you can see, there is A LOT of work to be done. Buttons need improving, scripting needs work, etc. etc. Ignore the green things moving about the screen. I was testing something. And Loonie, you'd need to get it converted, as I can't use midi files!
Loonie
Hey, no prob. I just talked with my brother and it should be done by this week (or next if things drag on). In any event I am certain that I'll be able to do it
Loonie
I DID IT! Mp3 Format for your favourite (and only at the moment) XCAS Music! I'll be shipping the versions to you Mouse and explain how the internet site should be equipped with them. (and yeah DH, go ahead and mock me for being such a geek as to make XCAS music, but!......I'm not so much as proud that I made XCAS music as that I am proud that I composed my first mp3 music. Cheers All! Loonie
DragonHawk
WTF? I wasn't going to say anything, other than an MP3 might be a bit on the large side for lower-speed connections.
Loonie
Sorry, I was a bit on edge and anticipating your various sarcastic replies. (I still am but that's besides the point). Back to the topic at hand!
Mouse Nightshirt
DH, mp3 is the only compressed sound format I can use. I can't eve use midi. It's an option of wav or mp3. Would you prefer a 50MB wav or a 3MB sound file. Loonie. I can't use both files. It makes the filesize far too huge, it's big enough as it is, and I'm gonna have to fiddle with it to decrease the filesize to less that about 600kb (Any more than this keeps away prospective 56k users.) Loonie
Okay then. In that case you can dump the second file (XCAS2.mp3) and use only the first. Compress it if you wish, though one more thing is requested (good idea from DH). The ability to turn the music on and off must be made available. That's it as far as this thing is considered and once again I'm sorry for the trouble you had. Heh
