Just like to say thanks to Pete for keeping us email players going with what is an otherwise unsupported game. I think we'd be in a lot of trouble without his efforts.

Pete, I was thinking about the tournament stuff... If I'm done with my version, I could write a tournament program with it, using your database or something like that.... I mean something like the Tourney program a few years back..... idea?

Wormfist: You mean actually write a tournament INTO the game? I dunno... sounds like a bit of a big optional extra

 

Erm... the big tourney I'm writing should be done soon (got 10 days off satrting from the 4th of October!!), and it'd be REALLY easy to just alter that one for use with your program I reckon. Thoughts?

Wormfist, I was thinking that keeping them seperate has it's advantages. I would keep the tournament a thing seperate than the main game. Putting too many things into the box will increase the chance of it breaking... Better to take two smaller boxes so that you can work on each in it's own time.

I agree, it would probably be overkill...

 

And Pete's tournament is more than enough come to think think about it.

Well once I finish it, it should be easy enough to copy the program files to another folder, tweak them slightly and have a separate one for your updated EX-COM version Wormfist
