Zombie
So I'm reusing this page name from the wiki as a title for this topic. The other day I was browsing a seed catalog from Jung Seeds seeing what's new and exciting with plants and flowers this year. I happened to run across an entry for Russian Quince: A pretty yellow fruit which looks like an apple. Ok, I'm intrigued as I never had quince before. A little more reading and I came across the plant's Latin name: Cydonia Oblonga. Now that's a cool name (I like it better than Russian Quince)! Link to the entry in case anyone is interested. - Zombie
