Thorondor
What are they made of at Firaxis? We shall soon find out: :: This Thursday devs of XCOM2 War of the Chosen are streaming their Challenge Mode playthroughs!
Space Voyager
Just as an aside, I like the term 'Bronze Man challenge' that I see cropping up in some of the discussion threads in those articles. Never come across it before, but I quite like the sound of it. A kinder form of Ironman. - NKF Google gives me nothing useful on this... What is Bronze Man challenge? I can only guess that bronze is a technological evolution on iron?
silencer_pl
It means you can save between missions. It's popular because unlike in X-COM where half team wipe doesn't mean failure because of the RNG and you can still pull the mission with right equipment. In XCOM that 25% chance to hit with 5% crit that did happen just ruins your life. Not to mention that there are plenty of bugs like A) High cover you are in is not a high cover at allB) Shooting through wallsC) Knowing exactly where your troops are na Yoloing to their position. Also in X-COM failing that terror mission doesn't mean end of the world, while in XCOM it's pretty bad. Space Voyager

silencer_pl
On the other hand, while we are bombarded how awesome McAwesome the new DLC is, I've made a progress in my LW2 campaign to be almost finish with it. With that comes Tier 3 armor and how modding looks there so here it is our glorious team. I'm lacking resources for whole 10 men squad but before we will head out to waterworld I'm sure I'll patch everything. So let's begin with our glorious leader. Withe Tier 3 everyone gets a helmet, no more "Hey Mr. Alien here is my head shoot it". Myself: Our current number one X-COM modder Tycho: Our Ufopaedia guardian(?) and openxcom modder Hobbes: Our ever vigilant SV (only exception to helmet rule, as a sniper he in theory should be far away from being shot (except that few times where he almost died)).(checkout that K/M ratio) Our (ex?) member Nox, who is sometimes too serious And the folks that are still missing Tier 3 armor. Mr. T - only minor upgrade from kevlar armor. A backup Specialist BB - sorry no Tasmania flag in my list, so I hope Australian look will be good enough. And NKF who just keeps messing with your minds: Missing Zombie - since no change from last show, and Sunflash.
NKF
And you know what I also like besides messing with minds? Cold Gin! * - NKF * Disclaimer: That's a lie. I don't normally drink alcohol
Thorondor
Nice looking A-team of yours, silencer. I wasn't aware NKF used to belong to KISS. SV looks like the main character of a futuristic Assassin's Creed and NoX as a Heavy looks pretty darn cool too. As for me, I approve of the chosen gear, as thick armour will only slow you down when you need to get the heck out of dodge on a mission. :: From XCOM's official twitter account, a familiar thought: You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. You also miss most of the shots you *do* take, because this is XCOM.

silencer_pl
I wasn't aware NKF used to belong to KISS. Me neither, that proves that NKF is full of surprises. As for me, I approve of the chosen gear, as thick armour will only slow you down when you need to get the heck out of dodge on a mission. Keeping that watchful eye on Exit stage left?
