Zombie
Hi folks, not sure if any of you follow One F Jef (aka Jef Major) on YouTube, but he's doing a second run of Silent Storm, this time as the Axis. You can check out the playlist , and watch the first video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvmNT304BoA - Zombie Samellaborn
Someone64
Oh, I was just about to post about this. I guess I'm more than a little late though.
Zombie
Hehe, he's 14 videos in already, so yeah just a little late. I'm enjoying this Let's Play as Silent Storm is one of my favorite games, even though sometimes I just wanna reach out and strangle Jef for all the risks he takes and his cavalier strategy. - Zombie
Zombie
I've been watching Jef's playthrough so far (up to 16, 3 still to watch) and what really boils my blood is his insistence to blow everyone's APs by shooting at enemies who are not visible. 9 times out of 10 the enemy will get out of it unscathed so all you do is waste ammunition and APs to reload. Scout, get actual LOS on the enemy and don't move the person who uncovered the enemy until the end of the round. Is that too much to ask? I do realize he takes issue with how the game handles opportunity fire/reactions/interrupts but that's not a good reason to ignore this facet completely. And yes, sometimes the game is unfair because sometimes their stats are a lot better than your soldiers, but move on. It needs to be this way otherwise it would be too easy. - Zombie
