Ki-tat Chung Posted November 6, 2003 Share Posted November 6, 2003 (edited) ok, im gonna make a simple batch-file patch for apoc fixing image errors such as cargo/bio-tansport modual. please list errors that you know of. i know definately there are more out there. i think, could someone please check to make sure, airtrans and autotrans miniture image/icon you see in hostile vehichles are swapped as well... edit: ahh, yes! i remember now! another error (not that many people will noticve it, as not many people use tanks), is the rumble cannon/plasma cannon error in the ufopedia. unlike the cargo/btm error, this time the problem lies in the ufopedia. in the icon for vehicle assignment, you see that the rumble cannon has a mini rocket thingie at the end, and in the ufopedia, it doesn't, and vice versa for plasma. Ki-tat Chung Posted December 10, 2003 Author Share Posted December 10, 2003 uhh...what i ment was simple changes, like the renameing of files. eg in the vehichle equip screen, the little images that represent the weapon/equipment you are thring to equip, the cargo and biotransport module are swapped around. cargo is the one with tracks, and biotransport modul is the one without. the finance/score screen, when the finance button is desellected, there is a little line. all im gonna do there is erase it. stuff like that. NKF Posted January 2, 2004 Share Posted January 2, 2004 Yeah, there's only one bitmap for the equip screen (well, there's two, but they're duplicated for the cityscape and battlescape). To get male/female screens (and possibly even android/hybrid varieties), you'd have to rewrite a tiny bit of the game code. This, of course, is impossible at the moment. Here's a compromise: Convert the agent into a silhouette - or maybe the red dummy model used for posing the Megapol and Disrupter Armour, as seen in the ufopaedia. This way, it doesn't have to be either gender. All we need the model for is to show us what the unit is wearing.
