Ki-tat Chung
as i mentioned in another thread, i saw, while paused, an anthropod while in half-run stance and facing in one direction, suddenly stand upright and face another direction. is that possible? so does the AI change its tactics depending on what we do in paused as well? is that cheating? or does the AI respond to what we do as it is acted out? knight_of_the_ravens
no...i've seen it too.....it's just a glitch reaction.....they do the same thing they were gonna do the first time...so ignore their lil stupid movements....lol
VegasSte
I have seen this as well! They suddenly stop and decide to throw a grenade instead of running like they were when you paused it!
knight_of_the_ravens
well...i have'nt seen them actually change their minds though...every time i've seen them do it,they always just kept doing what they were doing originally...
The Veteran
They don't change their minds as such. It's just that when you pause it they finish doing what it is they were doing... Therefore if they're running they'll simply stop still as they can't finish it. If however they have run to a square and are about to turn around when you pause it, they will turn around while it is paused. Knight is right, it's really just a glitch... Ki-tat Chung
i know that. it happens with your units as well. it wasn't as much as the stopping the run, it was the coolness that you see the anien stop what he was doing to throw a 'nade...
