silencer_pl
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zorvehkmYHM Welcome all to the world of Fallen Enchantres: Legendary Heroes. With this AAR I will welcome you to the world of Elemental. A world full of magic, monsters and would be heroes. The question is, can I be such a hero in this world ravaged by war, where hoards of monsters roam the land and the Evil Enchantress plots here dark schemes. We will soon find out. Before we head out, let's pick our Sovereign, who will lead it's people to victory or death. The first is Lord Relas of the Altar Kingdom. The Altar is kingdom of people who loves adventuring. Their main traits improve questing. The second pre-defined Sovereign is Oracle Ceresa of the dark Resoln Empire. Those are sort of undead Wraiths. They are dark magic oriented summoners with also abilities to drain life. (Note: Empires and Kingdoms are opposites of each other sort of like. But that doesn't mean that Kingdoms are of Good alignment. Next we have General Carrodus of the Capitar Kingdom. This Kingdom is based on trade or at least their portfolio says so. Then we have Lady Irane of The Kingdom of Tarth. Former slaves of the Capitar Kingdom. This your more fighting oriented kingdom that also has access to better bows and their scouts aren't slowed by obstacles like forests. Next in line is Emperor Karavox of The Kraxis Empire. They are defensive oriented with some traits of trechery (betrayers trait for example). Here we have evil Umber Empire with Kulan as their leader. They are some sort of evil barbarians, since they traits improve offensive skills . Then there is Magnar Empire with Magnar as leader. From the traits we can see that they fancy in slavery, which means any victories will increase city populations. Next the Kingdom of Gilden with Lord Markin. This Kingdom crafts the best armor and are the only ones that can train Golems as powerfull guardians. Next the Kingdom of Praiden with Queen Procipinee. They are the classic mage type kingdom. And the last is Empire of Yithrill with Warlord Verga as their leader. This is another faction that only wants to kill and murder everything that lives. If that is not enough, you can create your own Sovereign based on the above kingdoms or empires. And in this AAR I will create my own Sovereign. I've tossed a coin and in this game the Sovereign of the people I will rule will be female and the faction will be Kingdom of Guilden. Her traits are focused on fighting mostly and some basic aspects of life magic. With the heavy armor of the Gilden Kingdom she will be some sort of Paladin class hero. Her starting weapon will be the spear. Lowest damage from the all starting weapons but has pretty good advantages like ignoring 50% of armor, immune to counterattack (many swords give counterattack skill) and impale which allows to hit two enemies behind line. So with some sort of introduction done, let's start new game. Map will random generated - I don't have map DLC because there is no point in buying predefined maps if you have generator, unless the generator is bad (hint: It ain't that good like in Civilization games.) The setting of the AI is as follows. I haven't mastered this game that much so I wonder if I can manage normal AI, but what the heck. So let's go. But before you even start the game, you will be playing a mini-game with RND, which means hitting "generate new world" button until you will get decent landing position. Because in this game that city tile really counts. I stopped at this scenario. It ain't perfect, but you could even spend hours till you get the perfect settings (just like you did in Baldurs Gate 1 ). City creating units see 3 things on the tiles. That is Food, Production and essence. The higher the number the better. For the Food it matters how fast your city will grow, for production how fast it will build, and the essence allows the cities to get some magic enchantments (later on that). The highest number what can be seen is 5 I think but good luck on getting 5/5/5 - I think not possible. The very good tile can have 5/4/3 I think, but with RNG luck you can even start on tile that have 2/4/0 or none at all. So yeah. In the scenario I've chosen I will move to that tile 4/3/2 on the left side. Form the up we have some crystal production tile, down we have iron ore and on the right we have life shard. So with proper expansion we can at least prosper from the Iron mine and that life shard - don't know what those crystals are for yet. Our capital is created Tan-ta-Kreet. First thing we need to the city to do is train some scouts and pioneers. Next thing is to cast that sovereign special city enchantments spells. It gives bonus to a city and since our Sovereign knows something about life magic she can cast Sovereign's call which boosts population growth. Other magic schools give other enchantments. And the last thing is to set that research. Research is divided into 3 categories: Civilization, Warfare and Magic. So let's start improve our civilization first. With that extra money on start rushing production can be useful. So that is how you start a Fallen Enchantress game. Stay tuned for more. silencer_pl
Ok, let's go for adventure and don't die in the process. Our first steps are made towards that bandit camp. Our first battle and we have already gained a level. I don't remember how the choose your profession screen looked like in original but here looks like that (I bet it is the same). Vienka will follow the path of the Defender. Next thing is to collect all the chest lying in the vicinity. At the southern part near second crystal cave there was a Darkling camp. And we gained new weapon. Meanwhile our scouts locate a dangerous region - The Pits of Namtur. This area is filled with caves where you can find good loot, but be prepared to fight very powerful monsters (Dragons included). So let's keep away from this part of the map for now. When our first group of settlers are done I try to find a good place for new city. Unfortunately there is none, so they are ordered to go south and build outpost. What is outpost? Well remember colonies in Civ3? It is something like that. It gives additional borders that allows to seize additional resources or connect other city with capitol. On this side we can't go further time to go back and scout somewhere else. After that initial 20 turns we got that technology. Now for Restoration. And we have a new city on 3/3/1 tile. Looking on the map - we have terrible way for expansion. Not good enough grounds in the vicinity. Always something... but at least there is iron mine next to it. The escort location isn't that far, but again we have to backtrack. You've probably noticed that building next to the city. That is quest starting location. What quest will it give me? Nothing fancy - just your escort nobelmans daughter. Sounds simple - but be warned although it might be simple in the beginning, a trap might be set at the end. The quests here are unpredictable sometimes. But we will take it. Meanwhile our capital grown large enough to be city of level 2. Just like heroes cities also take specializations:-Conclaves - specialize in more research output-Fortress - specializes in production, defense and troops.-Town - specializes in income. Since our capital will be producing a lot it will be of fortress type. Our escort mission came to an end without any surprises. I'll take that Gildars - money is more needed for me than just some bow. Having gained the experience Vienka levels up. Of course completing quest gave me enough fame to recruit a hero. Bannon Heighsley will now server under our banner.
Thorondor
Much like SV, I think a Fallen Enchantress AAR is very welcome indeed! :: And, silencer, you playing 'against character' as a more defensive oriented faction is even more of a must see in my book. Space Voyager
silencer_pl
Don't know what you mean with the 'against character'. I am not good at this game so don't except any miracles When we last left off, we got a hero to join our cause. We need to give him some men so he can be of any use, so 2 Cenotaph (spearman) units. That will make us lose some money - because this hero costs us money, troops costs us money, and we don't have good economy, but we have plenty in coffers. On the following turns Restorations are finished, next goal - Administration, but we need knowledge first. This is the region of vast caves, dangers and treasures. As you can see not much of expansion visible in that way. There is a troll camp, and further down the map is another strong monster army. Well we will see what can be looted in Pits of Namtur - but not in the caves. Knowledge is done and the second city is able to build pioneers. We need to grab the land for plenty of good materials (that we don't have). Some few item pickups. Bannon gets the spear, while Vienka gets the other nifty stuff. Because you can't build cities everywhere and even so, the cities must be connected with the capital or they will suffer a negative impact on the unrest. The unrest can be compared to a corruption from civilization. There are numerous ways to increase/decrease unrest. More loot, not so dandy but selling it might bring some coins. Bannon encounters new quest opportunity. It's not very far to reach. When he reached the destination, first he needed to take care of that air shrills. Not very dangerous but annoying with static charge attack. After clearing the ruins, there is some man, that wants payment. Because the game can make swift change in difficulty so I will pay the man. So the spell is ours... wish I knew what kind of spell. And thanks to this Bannon is level 2 and I don't know why I made him a mage. Meanwhile our scouts spot this guy... Really wish I knew what is his problem. Further explorations and Vienka finds this spell scroll. Bannon tries his luck attacking bears cave... although our strength are equals bears have this powerful ability called maul. They constantly attack target until it misses or dodges, so can pretty "one shot" basic units. But he manages to win this encounter. And this mace was found in the cave. The research is done now I will try to get the construction, but I guess I will have to switch for something else at one point. Exploring north Vienka finds a Ruffian den. And the first opponent is reveled. It is Empire of Umber so in theory we will wage war at some point because empires and kingdoms hate each other. Judging by the points I am doing quite better, but not too much. Our second city has grown. Because it is a pathetic place for a city, I guess making it conclave is the best option. No point in making this either a fortress or town if there is little of upgrade potential. Thanks to some clearing area by Bannon, we can have another city. Remember that bandit camp on the start - I forgot to "clear it" now Bannon had to backtrack and take care of it. Clearly I don't know what I am doing. I gave him summon level although I don't have summons yet. Vineka finds a rusty chainmail. Well some protection is better than nothing. Another Empire is found... That makes me a little uncomfortable. Guess some warfare research is needed. A free upgrade is good, even if it is not that meaningful. Wait, what? Why do you want to give me tribute? Either because I have much more points or I don't know. Nice axes there Bannon. Vienka finds other bear cave. I am risking too much. I am totally surrounded... and she is very close to my third city... Now I am certain to build more units and give them some weapons instead of clubs. Definitively love is NOT in the air. Another robe found. They also want to give tribute... hmmm.... What is strange this tribute last for 1 turn I think. Building some stuff increased my fame so we can have another hero. But I can't spare soldiers for him so he will try to scout solo, while Vienka returns to the capital for more soldiers. Welcome Janusk. I think I found the main borders of Resoln Empire. And as you can see Yithrill doesn't like me. Guess I need more army.
silencer_pl
Here is a look see on the current state of the map. My territory is on the right middle, with Yithrill bordering from the north. I said that it was Resoln which was a mistake. The Umber are located on the left from the center. Haven't noticed Resoln borders yet though. Vienka and Janusk are located in the lower left side, Bannon on the top right and our scouts are in the middle. Because Ythrill are so close, Vienka will come back and prepare for war. Yes we will be going to war. 1 Because this AI is stronger than us, 2 because they are Empire and surely they will attack us soon enough and better wage war on our rules, 3 It's very aggresive nation so yeah. Mining is finished, so our next step will be researching something in the warfare department. Although my plans were first to go for warfare, I forgot that switching tabs also changes the research. Really wish this game had "accept" research button. Our third city grows up and because of the circumstances it will be also Fortress. After some turns we have our first battle oriented techs. Did you know that Monks robe is actually quite better than leather armour? But it costs those crystals I didn't know what they do. Now I know they are used to make magic items. Bannon finds a nice shield somewhere in the desert. Training is done, now for better weapons. Vienka returns home and as every lady do is go shopping. Selling all the unwanted loot for few Gildars and buying that shield. I was tempted to buy some enchanted items, but I will probably rush few units. I've spotted Warlord Verga near our Borders, scheming against us probably. Soon he will pay. After getting new weapons I will need that Construction. Remember that little fort a little to the left of our capital. It needs to be extended to have border connection with that third city. And construction gives high tower upgrade. With leatherworks we got ourselves unit called Shields of Gilden, and with weaponry just your standard warrior. Also weaponry and enchantments gave a little upgrade in firepower and defense. Also compare them to our standard Centopah. Those Shields of Gilden will be our frontline troops for now. If I find enchantment that gives electric damage I am sure to call them Thorondorians While scouting more into Umber territory Janusk finds lost library - a bonus to technology is a very good bonus. But he will also slowly return and prepare for war. As time progresses, we need to invest into some education. Need that research going. With few new soldiers Vienka goes and tests them on a troll that has a lair near one of the cities. First battle report a major success. And a new level. Now she needs to target that Plate Mail proficiency. With this technology we can invest into research and get those better techs faster. Also next stop trading. Because we will be employing new soldiers and we must have some income to pay the wages. Well, I think you shouldn't share that kind of information with enemy. That means I really have to reduce some Ythrill population. Once the trade is done, more warfare upgrades - this will make my armies bigger. While Vienka was preparing for war, Bannon found another hostile territory. And this fantastic looking potion. He also encountered some bandits camp, and bandits must have some goodies. The exploration AI is pretty terrible. Those scouts were caught between mountains and Ythrill borders, so they couldn't move and I wasn't ready to declare war. They were eaten by this horrible spider. Bannon exterminates all the bandits and finds nothing of imporatnce... well at least XP was gained, he also should return to help in the war. Vienka does second army test. Cenotaph almost pays the price but the bear is dead, also this gave a path for some settlers to found city nearby. Now we can drill more units into armies, so let's go with that lost art of Blacksmithing... and have some Iron golems in the process. Now after field testing new units, we can start depopulating some unfriendlies. Prepare for war... Your armies don't stand a chance and you've lost your first city. Might hammers of justice. And so Vienka levels up, armies of Ythril are broken, we can go on and take more cities. Also I've found that alchemy spell... don't know if the price is worth. 100 Gildar is not enough for 1 unit. Meanwhile umber are trying to be nice. But I know that they will backstab sooner or later. But for now, I'll be nice. Janusk also wants some glory, and clears out a spider nest nearby our borders. Enjoy while you can, because that city will be mine at some point. Eradicating some more useless bandits Bannon, gets another level, and that is why I wanted that summon skill. And I will leave you with the map of current affairs for now. Umber is closing from the left and Ythill units aren't stopping us from advancement. silencer_pl
Because right now we need better weaponry and armors and besides Gilden aren't that good at magic. If I were to play Pariden nation then magic would be better decision

silencer_pl
Our war effort continues to progress. Another city captured and even lord Verga himself had to taste bitter defeat. Now we also know the lost art of Blacksmithing but we should progress for armour too. This city however is very well defended, I guess I will need to wait and bring some reinforcements. Maybe that new Iron Golems perhaps? Farhammer is ready for upgrade. A second conclave shout later yield some boost in science output. Bannon is trying to return home, but his path is blocked by numerous of monsters and very powerful in fact. He has found this compass that will let him move through forests without penalty, but will it be enough. This is very strange situation. Strange that those spiders decided to attack even if that single units of Shields are quite stronger. There was this bone ogre in our borders and Janusk decided to clear it out. Almost flawless victory, but one of the shield units didn't make it. New armour would be welcomed indeed. But leveling a champion is always worth it. On the other side of the map. Umber are expanding very rapidly and very close to our borders. Need to finish Ythrill soon. But judgeing by the score I should be not afraid that much. Threat level higher then Bannons army but still victory. I got to wonder how threat level is calculated. I've found electric hammers - that means Thorondorian units. But before that there is something else that will be researched (because I forgot AGAIN that switching tabs also switch research). A horse, a kingdom for a horse. It only took 2 turns, so I guess not much of a waste. And behold our unit designs. Looks quite better than that plain Monks Robe. Unfortunately upgrade of previous Shield of Gilden to the new one costs 200 Gildar... pretty expensive. When the new Iron Golem arrived at Vienkas army, she decided to attack that fortress of a city. A bloody battle indeed but another city has fallen. From my count only 2 more remains. My expectations from the golem are mixed. He is very durable, but can't count on the damage output. Best to make a few units and mix with range units. That would make a powerful city defense unit. I went for shard harvesting to gain more mana from those shards. Now to get that hammers Meanwhile this bitch destroys our mine... she will pay for it later. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-NBewTGLJu1M/UXBvLpDC-2I/AAAAAAAAKGc/8J-1dDaIFXA/s0/101.jpg' alt='101.jpg'> Meanwhile, the Umber are trying to tell us, that they need to be taught a lesson... Soon after Ythrill are done, they will be next. Although one unit was upgraded and AI decided to focus on this unit. I guess that the armour upgrade is worth it. Space Voyager
Looks like you're on the road to victory! Not that there were any doubts to start with. Upgrading units really is expensive. I usually skipped it.

silencer_pl
Another City falls. And Janusk gains another level. He also goes for the plate armour trait. After few turns Great Mill in the capital is built. Another few turns pass and now we have Enchantment is done. Next in line is cooperation that will allow to train larger units. There are 4 sizes of units each one adds additional unit to the stack, but this will also increase the cost and time of production. One of the last cities I am aware of is very well defended. Will have to wait for some reinforcements to capture it. Meanwhile Janusk clears some monsters near the recently captured city. Because monsters running wild can attack cities and destroy them. Unfortunately one of the Shields died which is a shame because he was level 4. Vienka also did the same thing, with same result. God damn spiders. But well is level worth the lost unit? Maybe. She can now wear plate armour. While Janusks army was recuperating second monster wave attacked the city. Those spiders come with two army stacks - this is the second one. Each city has it's own militia unit. I think the bigger the city (level) the more militia units spawn, so losing this free unit isn't that bad. Few turns later our capital is large enough to be level 3 city. Since it is a fortress we can choose 3 military upgrades. Infirmary adds some health to units produced (I may be wrong this is from memory). Strike Garrison give a skill that all units will move first regardless of their initiative on the first turn. And I think that Watchtower will give the best benefit. After the cooperation it would be nice to get that Iron Works. More production power is nice. As promised with the enchantment researched new units. The first one is wielding big hammer that does lightning damage and some other buffs. The second unit are women with swords. Strange that there are no swords with enchantments all weapons except swords. There are fire axes, ice spears and lightning hammers. Recruiting 2 squads of each depleted almost everything from my Iron deposit and Crystals deposit. Damn the are expensive. Hope they will do massive damage. With fresh units Vienka is now able to attack that remaining city. But the war ain't over yet. They must have a city somewhere very deep. And following Lord Verga was not an option since there were too many powerful monsters in the way and borders of Umbra and Resoln were close by. I'll guess that after clearing Umbra I will get to that last city of theirs. Following Verga another army of spiders and again one shield unit died. On the way few good items were acquired. And army of trolls made Vienka level again. This time she will advance in life magic - with recent events of losing a squad heal will be very useful. On the other side Janusk was making sure that the path for new outposts that will lead to more resources are clear, he found this sand golem. It ain't powerful, but free unit is free unit. Economy will give another room in the army slot. And we made contact with the Kingdom of Tarth, which looks very pathetic at this stage. Why does he bother, giving me money to fasten our war effort ain't that good solution. Next in the line of research will be Rituals. Mainly because it gives building that reduces unrest. And of course I don't know how I did but before I even started to research rituals I've mode complete research stop for few turns. They are very pathetic - they even want us to pay just to have trade treaty... but ok more money in the future should return the investment. And they have only 1 city... Well since I don't know where their city is, I'll accept his piece offer. At least I can focus on the Umbra. More magical mysteries. Because I can upgrade crystal mines even more. I could have archers long time ago, but I think I would have them sooner if I was playing Tarth. And we continue still in the magic department. One of the captured cities (the first one) is now level 2. We need more unit producing cities so a Fortress it is. Kingdom of Yaahoo ? And todays update will finish with finished sorcery. Space Voyager
I gotta find the time. GOTTA. Great going, Silencer! I'm drooling all over.
silencer_pl
In today's episode, more war, death and some monsters killing. It all starts with some diplomacy. Yes give us money. Then we declare war on Umber. With the new units it's time to use them in the field. The Umber are really expanded. If it wasn't the war with the Ythrill I would have so little settlements. But now we are now even. So all three champions gather their army and attacks the nearest Umber cities. First starts Bannon with some monsters in the way. Those hammers are pretty darn good. This victory allows Bannon to move up. Let's use this one big bonus of experience gain. Turn later we have our first Umber city. Meanwhile our research progresses. On next turn - two more cities crumble. Definetly those horsed units bring some serious firepower and that light plate armour provides decent defense. One of the Umber cities was created nearby this Lord of Flame monster you saw at the beginning - now this guy roamed nearby and had to be stopped. Good thing I decided to go for that healing spell or one unit would go bye bye. And we have quite the experienced units. Gesaldra after our capture was re-taken by the Umbra. They have sent all their mobile army to retake it. But how predictable AI is, this city is ours again. And finally another wonder in our grasp. There was some patching between latest update. In which came this little fancy unit upgrade screen. As suspected, another attack. Well not for long. Meanwhile another of our cities reach level 2. Well we will need more money, so Town it is. And we have another dangerous monster hunt. And again healing saves the day. Lost I think 200 or 300 mana in that combat Bannon goes through the Wilde lands to flank the Umber from other side and I wanted to see how we will stand a chance against those monsters. Bannon actually didn't die in that combat so probably a bug happened here. We've reached the technology to win the game using Magic victory condition by casting the spell of making. The catch is - the spell cast time is 10 turns and I believe so each turn 250 mana is consumed, so that means I would need 2500 mana and that is a lot. My income per turn for mana is 40 something, so yeah. And I think also some buildings are necessary to cast it too. Moving on, another city is ours. And Yaahoo wants some trade. Janusk still fights for Gesaldra. The pressure for that city is high. Now our research focuses on some civilization techs. Some cities have trouble with food production, so additional buildings must be made. This should be the last time I've lost that city. His armies are almost destroyed. And with this battle there is nothing to stop me from capturing more cities. Farhammer reached level 3. Being a conclave type city it can upgrade in the following options. I'll just take the option for the essence since some building improve on having those. And don't forget to cast some enchantment. Moving forward, death and destruction. Peace? Never. Next on our research agenda will be Breon's letters - researching them should give us enough fame for another champion. His city numbers from 9, came to little less than 5. During reloaction Bannon cleared some spiders dangerously lurking near the outpost. Some unlucky resistance checks and half of the army was webbed. The Militia had to pay the ultimate price. Another city grows into a town. Also Bannon gets new skill. That healing wisp would be nice a battle ago. Shame. Also another monster had to be slain. Don't be fooled with his little Attack. One of the units escaped with only sliver of health - stupid critical damage. This time, more research from this city. And I've discovered the last city of Ythrill... after clearing the Umber maybe I'll pay the visit, although from 1 town it can be 3 at that point oh well. And we stop at the brief visual of the surroundings. Our Kingdom spawns from east to west. Umber last cities are to the south-west. Resoln being now second power in the game is to the north-west. Janusk and Bannon will try capture all the Umber cities, while Vienka returns and maybe do some epic questing.
silencer_pl
Our war effort is doing great. More cities are captured. Because so, we have enough fame to get another champion. Because of achievement purpose I take Raza. And Yaahoo wants to make trade establishment. Very well. With the last battle Bannon is out of fighting force, so Janusk will finish off the remaining Umber forces. Vienka returned home and decided to start Dragongate quest. Finishing it will grant her a Dragon to command. So a quest for finding 2 Dragon Eyes has begun. Fortunately I know where the other dragon statues are. Breon's letters are finished and another champion has come to aid us. Edmynn joins our ranks and soon will have a force to command. Janusk continues with the crusade. Umber forces can't do anything to us now. As soon as the city was captured Umber proposes peace treaty. No - death to the Empire scum. Because we have your final city and Umber is no more. Janusk advances a level. First aid kit should come in handy, but later I found that this skill is bugged. It says 2HP per level but in battle it strangely says 0HP. News has spread of our victory and Tarth would like to offer a tribute. Well how can I say no ? Meanwhile in one of our cities a Treasury Vault is built. If I remember right it will add a % bonus to income based on what was in the treasury on the end turn. Well it won't be of much help since in war we are on spending spree. I have so many cities that in most of them unrest is so high that in order to reduce it I must rush some buildings. Since she is on the quest run, Vienka decides to clear that wildland territory near our borders. Having strong enough force she can now safely make a run from cave to cave. Arcane Apparel will help our troops to have some magic resistance - mainly that Dragon Hide Cloak. Because I have a feeling we will be fighting dragons. My gut feeling was right, but lucky no loses. Guess this dragon didn't have fire breath or something. Our capital is level 4 and another upgrade. Because I noobed that one I should have choose the Prison upgrade which reduces 10% unrest in all cities. I don't know why I thought gallows also affect all the cities. Because some jobs can't be left unfinished and I should prepare for war with Resoln it's time to finish him off. That said, Janusk clears some monsters and takes that city. Immortal codex will allows us to tap more mana from those shards. Another dangerous cave cleared by Vienka - this time those brave Cenotaphs didn't make it. Having those dragon cloaks I've ordered new batch of soldiers. Those crystals went puff within a second, so let's see what our friendly neighbors have. They are extremely expensive to trade with... Meanwhile Janusk continues to clear the Ythrill infestation. Because he has no natural magic resistance, maybe it is good to invest a point. But what is this. Looks like we have a challenger. Well good thing, she is trying to win the game by casting that spell of making, and we can't allow it to happen. And good timing, since we have cleared all of that filth. So now we can focus on the Resoln, but before we attack some preparations are needed. But for now... They thought they could take us.... they were wrong however, remember folks, when you have chipped tooth you are more susceptible to poison. So remember to visit that dentist of yours. Finally Vienka has cleared all the caves and once inhabitable land is now full of life and I see 3 perfect spots for new cities. One more stop before the dragon quest. That arena looks promising. First battle looks easy. Second battle was very tough - 2 fire breathing dragons. If it wasn't for big fire resistance, things would go badly. Third battle contained big demon who had very powerful critical but it wasn't that tough as the second battle. After the third battle, we got a proposition. Very tempting but gut feeling tells me not to push it. So Vienka declines. And that sword is very powerful indeed. But she must do more battle / quests before ever using it. We receive a proposal from Tarth - not that great deal but for "friends" we don't refuse. Scouting Resoln territory a new dangerous place was found. It's been 268 turns so far and I wanted to check how many turns we have left. Looks like we are only 1/4th into the game. Now the only question is how should I end it. Through conquest/quest/magic? I guess the Master quest will be the "hardest" or maybe I should put it the longest to finish. This new tech now allow us to have even bigger units. Also I've found another bug with the new upgrade mechanic. While training golems have disabled this grouping and you can have 1 golem in stack, however the upgrade can "add" new golems to the stack. Haven't tried it, in battle though. Vienka has reached first Statue. Do two quests and one of the eyes will be hers. Well considering that mostly quests are about fighting I imagine it will be 2 fights. First location wasn't that far. A fight with air elementals. Because our golem is vulnerable to lightning it suffered the most damage. The new location is a bit further but only in few turns reach. I've finally decided to get those Wargs. It will give our armored troops some faster response time. Because due to plate armour their initiative is very low.
silencer_pl
Continuing quest for the Dragon Eye, Vienka reaches the second quest location, where she has to fight more deadlier battle with an Ogre and some undead butchermans. Winning the fight and returning to the Dragon statue, the eye just popped into her hands. The second Dragon statue was not far from this one, so she went there right away. There she found that someone was already here. The only clue is a village not far away. Arriving at said village, she learned that a leader of Free Raiders took it. Paying the women with crystals, Vienka galloped to Free Raiders camp. There she wasn't greet friendly. After two tiresome battles, Arneson lies dead with Vienka holding second Dragon Eye. After this endeavor she is ready to level up. Something tells me that returning those eyes will not be enough as none of the fights were really epic. So before she will finish this quest, there is an Empire to be conquered. While Vienka was questing for the Dragon Eyes, other forces penetrated Resoln borders and wiping out all of their pitiful forces. When it finally came to an end Vienka rode on her horse and finished the remnants of Oracle Ceresa and soon Resoln ceased to exist. Only two more kingdoms remains for the final victory, there for I've decided to wait for a while, do some more dangerous stuff and at least check few of the victory endings. But you can end the game without having a Pony Another harsh land was found. After substantial time, Vienka is armed and ready to face the dangerous beast and quest. First is the slaying of the swamp creature. But with proper force the beast was slain pretty fast. Next was the Dragon quest and I am glad I waited it out. At the time I gathered the eyes I could manage to kill 1 dragon, but 3 at once was pretty insane. All the elite battles are recorded and posted below. Next came the master quest. The quest tells about someone called Samarra. Finding some clues and fighting with darklings, Vienka learns the spell to open the first gate. The second quest leads to an ogre holding a very powerful hammer. A little 'knock knock' with the hammer and the second gate is open. The final fight awaits. With the Dragonlord slain victory is at hand. But wait... what if I win in alternative way... here are the results of all 3 wins I could achieve. Only missing is diplomatic victory which I disabled and waiting till the time is over. The longest one was of course total military victory and even still I had 200 more turns to wait. Here you can watch ending "movies". https://youtu.be/aQx3-CqQVfw And here are the Epic fights. With top of the line forces, they don't look that epic. https://youtu.be/yBkc_HWqtfU And here are the graphs of power (based on the conquest ending). Also at the credits the game promotes this book. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0345517865/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=joeusercom-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0345517865

Space Voyager
Very good! Love reading these. And true, with top of the line units, even epic needs to bow.
