Nostalgia Fix Needed Please assist

OK guys, with the new xcom out soon if been al nostalgic and been watching lets plays of ufo and tftd so a couple of days ago i hit my software archive (suitcase in the loft) and dug out my ufo and tftd cd's ufo extender and ufo ran great and have just finished my second play through today and wanted to move on to tftd so i cant seem to get it to work with tftdextender its the windws version and i have the ogg files in a ogg folder and have updated the ini file but its just crashes right out of the gate im on win 7 64 would appreciate any help you guys could give me thanks in advance.

Some thoughts:

From where did you download the Extender and what version is it?

Have you tried TFTD Extender without enabling the MP3 music?

 

If these don't work, can you tell what exactly the problem appears to be and any error message you get?

Do all you get when you launch the extender or the main terror executable is a black screen?

 

Try this INI file. It disables everything except D3D.

 

If that doesn't work. Then try the Terror from the Deep_patched.zip. Just extract the files into the TFTD folder and click on Terror From The Deep_patched.exe.

 

Hopefully the INI will work and we can isolate what is causing the problem.

Well, this is the last thing I have for tonight.

 

This is a file that Bladefirelight made to fix the incompatibility with Vista and he says it works for Windows 7 too.

 

Extract the files and run the bat.
