Does my copy of UFO aftermath have a bug or some thing?

TY for the tips guys..... I can stop pulling my hair out now LOL -
Can any one answer this for me please, I have just got a copy of UFO aftermath, and when I try to pick live alians up the game will not let me walk over them to pick them up. I shoot them untill they drop and only have a little red bar, but I cant pick them . Is this a bug in the prog?????? I'm pulling my hair out. can anyone HELP me please.
