I edited the UFOpaedia with all of them at the time, but:
 
- UFO's Battleship gun has a power of 140, not 148
- UFO's Battleship has 3,000 HP on DOS (not 3,200)
- TFTD's Battleship has a gun power of 140, and the Dreadnought 120 - the opposite way around from UFO, which has 120 for the Terror Ship (equivalent to TFTD Battleship) and 140 for the Battleship (equivalent to TFTD Dreadnought).
 
(Of course, the Dreadnought is still a fiercer foe than the TFTD Battleship due to its huge health and greater range.)

I still can't understand that this damn polyurethane is so useful and all-terrain applicable.

(Note: More advent writing, the person questioning the couple is a character design from Amanda Burn who has been helping me out. And is introduction of a civilian support group to advent peacekeepers (another self creation) dubbed 'Advent champions' I admit this was inspired by some very patronizing job titles at my job.) The design for advent champions comes from a rough draft of inital advent concept designs except colour scheme was changed from red to blue (reason being is myself and Amanda both agreed that red in advent is a likely symbol of highest authority)

I'll have chapter 3 brought up at some point today, have to say postimage is far far better than photobucket, I also changed the images to be PNG so the quality improves. A lot of this is setup, and try to broaden the scope as much as i can.

Nearly upto date with uploads, updating all this has given me a lot to look back on, besides some personal matters it's been tough trying to get two pages a month done with colour, it's getting more challenging given more interior and characters.

Also in relation to Amanda she helped work on a 'ADVENT memorial' desiign, created by the aliens to remember those who were killed by xcom. All true of course.

That took a long time but it is now upto date.
 
There is a lot I setup, though while was able to leave enough gap to have 'Mox' Take up the advent captain post (I suspected theey may include a faction of former advent loyalists or have the perspective of the foot soliders possibly) I didn't think they would open on Kelly's origin from the TLE pack. This was planned long before that and have Kelly origin tied as a activist with the Human Values Coalition (as opposed to children of the earth)
 
In short there is only so much I can adapt to changes, working slow has it's ups but at some point you have to stand by you're story and idea.

This wasn't dropped, it's absense was more to that I lost my password for this and that the site wouldn't allow me to reset a new password.
 
Thankfully I found it after all this time recently so it's been resolved now. I need to tidy the thread up anyway because photobucket is no longer a trusted hosted site, besides spam has watermarked my images with it's logo so I'll be swapping images with a new host that i been using.
 
It does look bad on me to give the impression I seemingly discarded a project on a thread, so will be bringing this upto speed.

This was a challenge, google may do a better job on translating roman based alphabet (something modern english and western European languages mostly based on) but Urdu was tough and MS word didn't do a good job on it either. Thankfully deviantartist https://www.deviantart.com/sasu-sakuu was helpful enough to give me the appropriate translation so I could re-draw the writing.)
 
I could have used google translate, but honestly I feel I be ignorant instead of trying to reach out to a world wide community like deviantart as well as the translation wouldn't had been accurate.
 
As for Advent writing which is more occurring as this goes on, I'll bring up my earlier notes:
setting up a rule for it, their language is far more simpler than ours. Their word only consist of basic form, such as "home", "learn", "count" etc.. Every addition to the word, such as "-ing" to verb, are loss to them. Here I use the word "eo" for home, "are" for learn and "u" for count (the last one was because it looks like +)
 
I don't think I can go in depth with it but to clarify Advent writing has no structure anyway what you see on the screen is simply scrambled gibberish just scaled to very small text. Breaking immersion a little by stating that but unfortunately there is no rule for advent writing, on the flip side it means you can make your own rules for it.

Z, you've obviously changed profession! I mean, is there any original work left in your hands or is construction (renovation) your prime job?

BTW, what kind of polyurethane did you use for the cracs? Is that the same one you used for tables?

I can confirm that there is always exactly one Magnetic Navigation in an Artefact Site - the Synomium Device itself. Unlike the one in a Colony or UFO's Alien Bases, it does not explode if you win the mission by killing all the aliens. There is also guaranteed to be at least one Alien Sub Construction, since there's one on the bottom floor of the module containing the Synomium (there may be more, depending on what random modules spawn, but that particular one is guaranteed).

Yes, sure, it is stupid not to do some more work after doing a lot of it already.
 

 

 
Damn, Zombie, you're unstoppable. The only work I actually did was to prolongue the life of an outside table (with attached benches) by sanding and paiting it. I left the poor table to the elements for too long already and it was either buying a new one (400€) or investing some work and money (cca. 50€). Which I did. I'll post that but first I have to decide for a new provider of web space for pics. I know I can upload them here but still, I like having the pics in one place. Photobucket is suddenly acting up on me and if you look at my AARs, the pics are ruined by watermarks etc. to push me into a monthly subscription.

What, have the remastered versions come out already?
 
I wouln't call CnC series the best of all times, though the music is freaking phenomenal! Hell march for the ages, right along the Imperial.

Do you expect the tool coating to last for several years? In my experience any colour on any of the tools was... well, sanded away pretty quickly by the... sand!
 
Actually I'm more annoyed by the colour particles making its way into the soil than I am by the degradation of the tools. Especially the wheelbarrow that had a thick layer of green colour and it is dropping off in flakes. I hate to see the chemicals in the compost, ending up in the salad garden.

From seemingly worn out to classy in a single coat of paint?! Takes a zombie to pull this one off.
