Slaughter
Feel like nothing happens in the X-Com community these days? Feel desperation stalking at every corner? We know how you feel, and thanks to Zombie we've done something about it! Salvation in the form of our X-Com links section is here! X-Force: Fight For Destiny is heavily inspired by X-Com. UFO Alien Invasion is heavily inspired by X-Com. UFO 2000 adds multiplayer to X-Com! And they all have playable versions out! Did I mention that X-Com: Tactical is a free X-Com board game!?! So as you can see there is no reason for panic. The X-Com community has lived for over 10 years, and we shall last at least another 10! If you see any links missing, or have comments in general, use this topic.
Zombie
Now that is a link section! Excellent job, Slaughter! I think we should all feel proud, as I have never seen a site with so many workable links in one location! Just fantastic! I have been searching the net for TFTD links, but it seems as though there isn't much besides the multi-sites I posted a while back. When I get some time, I'll look around for links to Interceptor, Apocalypse, Enforcer and Email X-COM. Another thing which might interest everyone here: while doing my searches, I always noticed that the StrategyCore forums were either mentioned, or linked to directly by most X-COM websites. And very often, there was nothing but high praise. Cheers, guys! This site rocks!
Slaughter
Glad to hear that. I found one thing I didn't like however. When searching for X-Com on Google, StrategyCore didn't come up on any of the first pages. Pete?
Zombie
Hi folks! I just wanted to mention that I just did a major overhaul on the links page again. A lot!3 download sites4 new "games in progress" (or completed)MobyGames linkA link to X-COM porn (Sorry, just had to add this. Don't visit it if you are easily offended or underage). Keep checking back as I'll probably be doing some more revisions this week. On deck next: YouTube videos. There are a bunch of popular "Let's Play" videos I'd like to include as well as a few other gems. Questions? Comments? Concerns? Submissions? Post here and I'll address them asap. - Zombie Pete
NKF
I think you might want to really stress that X-Com Porn most definitely takes you to an adult site with ads to match. It's far-far beyond my idea which I used to joke with Byron from XCommand about back in the day. That is, plain old pictures of Sectoids as they were but in easily-taken-out-of-context poses. Tropes, now there's a site I hadn't seen in years. Stumbled on it briefly ages ago, thought it was funny, then forgot about it. - NKF

I updated some of the wording to be bold. Does that help? Can't seem to make the words in color, I think it's unsupported in html these days and must be encoded in css styles. - Zombie
Thorondor
Someone has been busy dusting things off and removing the cobwebs. Good stuff, Zombie! :: Can't seem to make the words in color, I think it's unsupported in html these days (...) The official term they use is "deprecated" I think , and you're likely quite right that such niceties were finally fully shifted over to the CSS realm.
