TFTD Trade Show Poster¹

Front Detail Upper Lower

This gigantic poster was used to advertise the game by MicroProse in their trade show booth and was saved by Quentin Chaney. It measures a whopping 61×150cm (24×59 inches). Zombie owns two of these: one is slightly used with pinholes in the corners and minor creases while the second is nearly new. It's very likely this was only intended for internal use in the UK market.

TFTD UK Poster¹

Front Detail

According to Quentin Chaney, this particular poster design was released only in the UK and never made it over to the United States except for the few copies he had. It measures the usual 41.9 × 59.7cm (16½ × 23½ inches). Zombie owns thirteen (13!) of these and all are in like new condition.

TFTD US Poster¹

Front Upper Lower

According to Quentin Chaney, this particular poster design was released only in the US and it measures the usual 41.9 × 59.7cm (16½ × 23½ inches). Zombie owns four of these and all are in like new condition.

Black TFTD Tee¹

Front Back Back Detail

This rare t-shirt was originally acquired by Quentin Chaney when he worked in the marketing department at MicroProse. Zombie owns two of these shirts, one is completely unworn and new, while the other is Quentin's personal shirt which is lightly worn but heavily loved. This is most likely a shirt intended for a European-only market as evidenced by the design.

White TFTD Tee¹

Front Back

This rare t-shirt was originally acquired by Quentin Chaney when he worked in the marketing department at MicroProse. Now owned by Zombie, it is unclear how many of these shirts exist. It's in near mint condition and appears to be unworn. This is most likely a shirt intended for a American-only market as evidenced by the design.

TFTD Production Crew Tee²

Front Back

According to Quentin Chaney, only a few dozen of these shirts were made and they were given out to production crew members and a handful of other key employees at Microprose. Zombie owns one of these - it's condition is perfect and unworn except for a small speck of what appears to be white paint on the left shoulder.

Signed TFTD Manual¹

Front Back Cover Cover Anno.

Owned by Zombie, the signatures on this manual were collected during the first year of the release of TFTD possibly by Quentin Chaney himself.

Signed TFTD Manual¹

Owned by Zombie, Steve Goss's signature was obtained possibly during the first year of the release of TFTD by Quentin Chaney himself.

TFTD Test Disks¹

Front Back

These are two 3½ diskettes that were test disks for TFTD when Quentin Chaney was in the UK. While living in the UK in 94-95 he became close friends with the TFTD development team and they would give him the latest map versions to play and test. Basically they are just one level where your squad has landed and you head out to fight the aliens. After playing you would then report any problems or bugs to the programmers or artists. As most of these were turned back in to get the next map level of the game to test there probably aren’t too many of these around. Again, these are not an alpha or beta of the whole game, just one map level. Zombie now owns these and they still contain data! The MicroProse UFO disk has a zip of a folder named TACTICAL and is dated 11/24/1994, while the UFO Terro Disk has a zip of a folder named PLANETAC and is dated 11/23/1994. Check this topic in the forums for more information.
